About Jumpgate

Jumpgate: The Reconstruction Initiative launched in September 2001 as the first massively multiplayer space combat and trading simulation. Jumpgate combines elements of combat, trading, mining, politics, and mission completion as the backdrop for a futuristic 3D universe. It remains unique among massively multiplayer space games for its commitment to true space simulation and joystick-based combat. The Episode 2 expansion, released in March 2003, added additional features for players looking for more than just point-and-click gameplay, including pilot-owned space stations, sector control systems, and pirating and counter-pirating equipment. New players interested in experiencing the excitement and conflict of the Jumpgate universe can sign up at http://www.themis-group.com/jg. Jumpgate is playable on Windows 95, 98, SE, and ME, as well as Windows 2000 and Windows XP.

Jumpgate requires a 28.8K modem connection to the Internet, a first generation 3D video card, and a minimum of a 233 MHz processor to play.
